With a total of 217 summer youth bowlers, Derby Bowl has had a very successful summer.
After bowling last week, the Derby Bowl took time to award it’s bowlers for their success throughout the summer.
In the Rugrats age group, ages 6-8, first place went to the Red Dragons. Katie Gaulin, Zane Allen and Evan Boslaugh were the members of the Red Dragons. Second place in the Rugrats division went to Bryce Wells, Brandon Becker and Kory Rash of the Panthers team. The Rockets took third place with members Josee Vogt, Jessica Yates and Gauge Harness.
In the Summer Breeze division, ages 9-11, X-Factor took first place. Keaton Steadman, Brandon Thompson, Copper Dyer and Alex Minson are members of X-Factor. Nathan Gash, Caleb Gash, Dustin Yates and Aaron Kreutzer of the Goofy Goobers took second place in the Summer Breeze division. Third place went to the I Couldn’t Think of a Name team made up of Talon Shrubshall, Wakinyan Shrubshall, Kyle Navrat and Krissy Navrat. The Strikers took fourth place with members Ethan Norris, Trevor Hudson, Gibson Ward and Todd Clubine stepping up to receive the award.
In the Teen Scene division, ages 12 and up, the Hot Pockets took first place. Paul Theis, Dylan Hunter, Brandon Rooney and Ben Rogers make up this team. The Turkish Lawn Gnomes earned second place with Brayden Frazier, Jaden Frazier, Aaron Williams and Evan Yule. Bowling Enterprise took third place. The team is made up of bowlers for the high school bowling team Eddie Rich, Mason McCanless, Dayne Frank and Steven Kretz. Will Parmelee, Brett Parrott and Brandon Martin of the Bowling Stones took fourth place in the Teen Scene division.
