Derby bowlers celebrate success by making their way on to the Derby Bowl Honor Roll. For the week of July 24-30 locals showed much progress on the honor roll, beginning with Mike Connell.
Connell won both the mens game and series. In the game he had a 278 and in the series a 692.
In the womans game Donna Stark showed her talent with a win of 225. Lisa Black followed up, winning the womans series by knocking down a total of 550 pins.
Nick Strunk took the lead of the m/f sr mens game with a total of 174. He went on to win the series with a 454.The m/f sr womans game was taken over by Bev Mitchell with a 165. Mitchell went on to lead the m/f sr womans series with a 453.
In the non-smoking sr mens game Harley McFarland took the lead with a 212.Mark Werth swept away the series with a 534.
Connie Renberger won the non-smoking sr womans game by knocking down 188 pins. She went on to win the series with a 515.
In the youth division Conner Alder led the bumper boy game with a 71. Kaitlyn Wentworth took over the bumper girl game with a 69.
The bantam boy game was led by Austin Hauschild with an 87. He continued his success, taking over the series with a 157. Kennedy Brown showed her talent by taking over both the bantam girl game and series. In the game Lindsey bowled a 72 while in the series she had a 134.
Lane Greenwell won over the prep boy game with a 176 but was beat out of the series by Brandon Thompson, who bowled a 423. During the prep girl game and series Kiley White had the high score. In the game she had a 163, while in the series she bowled a 389.
Julian Wherrell took over the jr/mjr boy game with a 244 but was beat in the series by Ethan Frank whit a 612.
Kayla Redeker took over the jr/mjr girl game with a 136 but Kennedy Long beat her out of the series by bowling a 348.
