Norma L. French, age 78, retired Boeing Company cafeteria employee, died Monday, November 10, 2008. 

Visitation was held Thursday at Smith Mortuary.

A funeral service was held Friday at Emporia Avenue Church of Christ, 1154 S. Emporia, Wichita. 
She was born December 15, 1929 at Leon, KS, the daughter of George and Myrtle (Banks) Davis. 

She married Harry French, August 14, 1949 at Leon. 

He, along with a son, James, preceded her in death.

 Survivors:  sons, Michael (Sonja) French, Des Moines, IA, Richard (Pamela) French, Guymon, OK, Timothy (Vivian) French, Wichita; daughter, Brenda (Samuel) Farmer, Halstead, KS; sisters, Roberta Sanders, Derby, KS, Helen Worrell, Wichita; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  A memorial has been established with Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation of Kansas, 5111 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67208-0217.
