Derby Senior Services will hold their annual Community Health & Wellness Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10 at the Derby Recreation Center.

The fair is free and open to the public.

 The Community Health & Wellness Fair will have a wide variety of vendors providing testing, information and demonstrations to increase health and wellness awareness and to promote healthy living in our community. 

 “We invite you to ‘go green inside and out’ at the (event),” Dee Williams, Senior Services Administrator, said. “Take ownership of your health and well-being and join us for this fun-filled day.” 

Services available at the Fair include flu shots ($29 or Medicare Part B card), blood pressure checks, breast health screening, chair massage, cholesterol blood screening, core muscle screening, dental screening, ear checks, foot care, glucose testing, health assessments, nutrition, reflexology, skin care, spinal scans, vision checks, and recycling information.

There will also be lunch available for $3 per person plus drinks, door prizes and more.
 
The Fair is being supported by a number of community sponsors. Level 1 sponsors are Central
Kansas Podiatry Associations, Grassland Estates, and Right At Home. Level II sponsors include
Audiology & Hearing Aid Services, Copperstone/Westview of Derby, the Derby Recreation
Commission, and Home Healthcare Connection. Level III sponsors include Always There Senior
Care, ChiroTherapy, Envision Rehabilitation Center, and Gage Chiropractic. Level IV sponsors
include Flint Hills Aromatherapy and Pomeroy Chiropractic.
