Award-winning act of spectacular magic won Eric Vaughn the "Magician of the Year" award in the Kansas City Metro area. Vaughn performed his magic which entertained hundreds of children and adults at Tanglewood Elementary School Tuesday, June 10.
The Cabaret style Magic Show is one of many annual events put on by the Derby Public Library Summer Reading Program “ Catch The Reading Bug”.
Vaughn had the undivided attention of the audience as he opened his magic
show with a dove appearing from a red hankerchief. Everyone kept their eyes
focused on Eric with an expression on their faces of “what’s going to happen
next?”  Four words sums it up... professional, surprising, creative and mysteri-
ous.  
Eric and Amanda Vaughn are respected all over the mid-west as powerful
performers because they provide a magic show of wit and charm, astonishing
amazements and breathtaking illusions. Their performance is not merely inter-
active. The show involved the audience by inviting them to be part of the action
and to become involved in all the magical wonders. It was an afternoon filled
with  laughter and amazement.
