Along with establishing substitute pay the Board will take action on establishing official banks of deposit, establish 2008-09 meeting dates, an official newspaper and official school year hours.
Members of the board will be asked to approve board travel and look at appointments to various jobs.
Tom Snodgrass will reccomend that the Board accept the $13,800 bid from Mid-American Courtworks. for the resurfacing of four tennis courts at Derby Middle School (DMS). Snodgrass will also ask the Board to accept a change in the previously decided asphalt and concrete bid to help restore some of the bus barn property and the east drive at DMS.
At the May 12 meeting it was decided that the Derby High School would get another wrestling mat based on bids received by the district. Only one vendor had a bid on the previously purchased mat the same vendor was contacted again. Resilite Sports Products, Inc. agreed to honor their previous bid of $10,289.
